What is Wellness Together Canada?
Wellness Together Canada is a free, virtual platform that can be accessed from anywhere, at any time. It is dedicated to supporting the wellness of people across Canada.

Funded by Health Canada and delivered in partnership by Homewood Health, Kids Help Phone, and Stepped Care Solutions, Wellness Together Canada was launched in April 2020, as a rapid response to national mental health and substance use health concerns brought on or intensified by the COVID-19 pandemic. It is the first and only national, publicly-funded virtual mental health and substance use support service in the country. PocketWell, our mobile companion app, was released in January 2022.
Wellness Together Canada was developed based on the Stepped Care 2.0© model that was founded by Dr. Peter Cornish. It is designed to provide people with access to the services they need, when they need them. A range of virtual mental health and substance use health resources and services are offered with no out-of-pocket cost, referrals, or health card required.
There have been more than 4 million unique visitors to Wellness Together Canada since its launch. Wellness Together Canada fills a critical gap for mental health and substance use health, complementing and helping to reduce the strain on existing systems of care.
