New Brunswick Addiction and Mental Health Helpline

The New Brunswick Addiction and Mental Health Helpline is a free, confidential service that connects residents with a clinician experienced and educated in social services, mental health and/or addictions. Residents can call any time of day, 7 days a week, to get support for addictions and mental health concerns, navigation and referrals to government services and community agencies, coaching, and crisis intervention.

2-1-1 New Brunswick

2-1-1 New Brunswick helps New Brunswick residents navigate government, health, community, and social services quickly and easily. It can be accessed by phone and online. 

The website can be used to search for services. The helpline can be used to connect with an information and referral specialist. The helpline is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Interpretation is available in 170 languages.

Tele-Care 8-1-1     

Tele-Care is a free, confidential, provincial health advice and information line. It provides access to bilingual, registered nurses. Tele-Care can be used 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Social Supports NB

Social Supports NB is a user-friendly website that helps people in New Brunswick learn about supports for seniors, families and caregivers. The website has information about dozens of government programs and community services. There are details about many different kinds of supports, including the following:

Gambling Information Line 

The Gambling Information Line is a 24/7 provincial line that provides help for problems related to gambling. The line is available to callers within New Brunswick and gives information and/or referrals for help. People can call the line to get help if:

  • they are having problems with gambling

  • someone in their family is having problems with gambling

  • they are affected by problem gambling in another way
