Video transcript:
“Using Self-Rewards and Self-Care daily is very important for your own mental health and well-being. People with anxiety are hard on themselves. We often don’t take time to praise our efforts or give ourselves rewards for a job well done. Sometimes our expectations are too high or unrealistic.
I want you to make an effort to be kind to yourself every day. Notice and reward your Effort over Outcome. It’s important to be proud of the effort you put into something, no matter how it turns out.
Take care of yourself by taking time each day to do something you enjoy. For me it’s making sure I eat balanced meals I enjoy and reading before I go to bed.”
